We choose to hold our residential weekends and our longer residentials (2 x 5 days in Year 1 and in Year 2) in Steiner Waldorf Schools. The five weekends (Friday evening to Sunday midday) are all in York Steiner School, and the two longer residentials each year are in Elmfield Rudolf Steiner School, which is in Stourbridge, in the West Midlands. This enables our students to experience two well-established Steiner Waldorf settings, providing a window not only into the early childhood provision and its seasonal changes, but also into the wider school community.
